Shit just got real! This past Saturday former #2 Alabama hosted #15 Ole Miss for what was supposed to be a payback game for the 23-17 defeat the suffered last season. Well the Rebels had something else in mind. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game, but Ole Miss came ready to ball! They hadn't won a game in Bryant-Denny since 1988 and refused to leave without snapping that drought. The decision to start Cooper Bateman over Jake Coker will forever be questioned, but who is going to doubt Nick Saban? The fact of the matter is that the Ole Miss defense stepped up when they needed to. Big time! Not only did they have two huge stops late, but Ole Miss was able to steal points off of five Bama turnovers. They say defense wins championships. If the Rebels keep this up & iron out a few wrinkles, they'll definitely need figure out their ring sizes. Until then, the SEC West is up for grabs.
