This topic needs no intro but we're giving one anyway! Sure, watching Micahel Phelps and Usain Bolt win a bunch of medals is cool and all, but what about the smoking hot babes that are hitting volleyballs, and running around in spandex shorts? They deserve gold medals too! So since the Olympic Comittee doesn't give them out for looks, the Mamcave decided to put together a list for you. Did we miss you favorite athlete? Comment below! Creeping in at the #10 spot is the beautiful Dutch Hockey Player! HEEEEYYYY MARIE! *inserts heart eyes emoji She's holding a gun and has a British accent, did you REALLY think she wouldn't make the list? This tall fine Russian! Yes lord! Ok, I had to show the face. Cutie pie! Ok, she didn't really compete, but she tried out so she's fair game and she has a nice ass! No explanation needed. I got a baton for ya alright! Every man loves volleyball for obvious reasons. But was it me or was the entire Brazilian team STAKCED?? It was hard to choose, but the mancave somehow found a way to spread the love throughout the world and just let one of them make the list. Coming in at the #1 spot! That one chick who has been all over social media?? Yeah, that's bae

Talk about tough! This weekend Jordan Spieth pretty much imploded on the 12th hole and it was all downhill from there. As his play continued to spiral down the drain, it started to become clear that he might just lose the 2016 Masters. Which, as many of you know, he definitely did. Danny Willett seized the opportunity and secured his place among green jacket wearers. To be honest, the previous two holes probably were still in the back of his mind and contributed to the demise. Surprisingly, this was not the most talked about story of the Masters. No, not at all. Instead, the internet is too busy comparing how he took the loss. Comparing to whom you might ask. None other than the Carolina Panthers signal caller, Auburn University National Champion, and Heisman Trophy winner, Cam Newton. Now some of you may not be aware, but I'm a HUGE Cam Newton fan. Since he took my Auburn Tigers to the college football promise land, he has been and will continue to be my favorite player. With that being said, I still think he could have handled that Super Bowl loss a little better. Spieth had to award Willett the green jacket after all that he went through and did it as honorably as possible. No pouting, no tantrums, no quick exits, he just did what he was supposed to do and carried himself with more sportsmanship than anyone I have ever seen.
SO FREAKING WHAT?! It was definitely commendable, but I could care less! I know for a fact that many of the critics would have handled a loss in a game of rock-paper-scissors worse than Cam did! He just lost a Super Bowl! After only losing one single game the entire year, you expect him to be happy for the team that took his ring??? Get a life! Cam Newton handled that loss like a human being! He shouldn't even be in this conversation! The fact that people are still stuck on one arguably poor reaction is blowing my mind. It's a game to you, it's his life. Golfers have many majors tourneys to win. There is but one Super Bowl. So congratulations Danny Willett. You played a great game and earned that jacket. And to all the Cam Newton critics, you know what you can do... Ok fellow bandwagon basketball fans! It's time to pick a new team to win it all! Now I know what you're thinking, "Bandwagon?!" Yes. Bandwagon. I pick a team every year that I want to win the national championship. Of course, it always starts off as Auburn, but you know how that goes. Now that it's Final Four time, all of my plan B-Z picks have been sent packing. This time, I'm doing things a little differently. I'm going to let you make the predictions! Tell me how you think the rest of the tourney will play out. We will post the results after a Champion is crowned. Well, like most of the world, my bracket magically turned into fire starter almost as soon as the tourney began. Now I'm just watching good basketball. What does yours look like? Post your predictions in the comments!
Pitchers and catchers reported last month and spring training is already heating up! The temperature is rising and that can only mean one thing, baseball is back! In honor of my favorite time of year, I've decided to give you a list. But not just any list, not a chance. Not a list of the best off season moves or the teams I feel have the best chance at playing in November. Nope! I have compiled a list of the best baseball movies of all time! #10. Soul Of The GameA movie about Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, Cat Mays, & Jackie Robinson? Of course it makes the list! #9. Field of DreamsThis is a movie that no list of the best baseball movies of all-time will be complete without. It has an almost cult-like following that is well deserved. The only problem anyone can possibly have is that it's this far down on my list, but of course, I care. "If you build it, they will come." #8. Angels in the OutfieldI still have this movie on VHS and will never let it go. I vividly remember watching it as a kid and thinking how cool it would be to be in a big league dugout. Flap those arms Roger, it can happen... #7. 42Come on, it's Jackie Robinson. If you saw this movie, you know why it's here. Quite possible one of the best representations of a classic tale filmed with modern technology. The story line, although well known, was amazingly adapted to the silver screen. Great watch! #6. The Bad News BearsNow I don't know about you, but I've been on some pretty shitty baseball teams. This movie captures just about everything that happened on them in one movie. #5. Rookie of the YearEvery kid's dream come true! I'd gladly be Henry Garden-hoser! Call me whatever you want, just get me that jersey with my name on the back & a roster spot. #4. Bull DurhamI have no clue why I like this movie so much, I just do. Can't even explain it. As a matter of fact, I'm not even going to try. This is an awesome movie. Period. #3. Major LeagueWillie Mays Hayes, Pedro Cerrano, & the Wild Thing, Ricky Vaughn! And we can't forget Jobu! This movie was an instant classic and lives on to this day. #2. The SandlotThere is no greater representation of the pure love of the game than in The Sandlot. The Sultan of Swat himself would be proud of this one. #1. A League of Their OwnThis is by far my favorite baseball movie of all time! Tom Hanks acted his ass off in this movie! First off, it's set in my favorite period of history, World War II. Second, there are women, women that can actually play! Not that big yellow ball being tossed around on a 200ft field, actual baseball being played! Oh, and let's not forget, it coined one of the best baseball lines ever uttered, "There's no crying in baseball!"
Saturday almost all of the basketball community watched one of the greatest shooters of all time put on one of the greatest performances of all time. Chef Curry once again awed fans with his ability to drain three pointers... from anywhere! The reigning NBA Champion Golden State Warriors came out to a slow start against the OKC Thunder, but refused to be put away. In fact, many people probably thought the game was all but over by the 4th quarter. Curry got a little shaken up when his ankle was accidentally stepped on and was taken into the locker room. The person that came back onto the court was not ready to concede defeat. I'm convinced that the Warriors travel with a phone booth because Curry transformed into a sharp shooting beast and took control of the game. Two clutch free throws by Andre Iguodala tied the game late & took the contest into overtime. I knew then, the Warriors would come out on top. It's not only the near perfect shot of Curry that amazes fans, but his ability to knock them down from well... everywhere. as soon as he touches the ball there is the possibility of a shot being taken. And he doesn't just take ridiculously long shots, he makes them! A lot of them! Of course, this sparked a debate among sports fans. Is Steph Curry the greatest shooter ever? Or to go even further, the best player?? Personally, I'm still taking King James, but Curry is not a bad choice at all. What do you think? is Steph Curry the GOAT? Let us know!
A couple weeks ago, the 2016 class of Major League Baseball Hall of Fame inductees was announced. No one was especially surprised. Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza were the only two who i thought would make it in for sure and it turns out that they were the only ones to make it in this year period. BUT, what did shock me was what came after... Jr. Griffey secured a vote on a little over 99% of the ballots. Only three people didn't think he belonged in the Hall of Fame. THAT'S 3 TOO MANY! What kind of idiot doesn't think that Jr. Griffey doesn't deserve to go into the Hall of Fame on his first year of eligibility??? Did you not watch him? Did the backwards hat upset you? Did he smile too much? what?? There is no way that any person who watches sports at all can think that Jr. doesn't deserve to be in the position that he is. And then to top it off, all the conversation about Piazza is mentioning PED's! Where did this "guilty until proven innocent and then still maybe kinda guilty" mentality come from?? Mike Piazza has never failed a piss test. That should be then end of it. He was a beast on the field and no one can take that away from him. And as a catcher, his body would have broken down much quicker than it did. Especially at the level he competed. It just goes to show you that no matter how well you do, or how many fans you make, haters gonna hate...
If you're like me, you dont have a dog in this fight. I have a deep rooted hatred for Alabama and Clemson is just "some ACC school". Add that to the fact that i feel Alabama will demolish the Tigers and this is making for a pretty lack-luster night of football. BUT fear not! I refuse to waste my last night of college football. This is where Vegas comes in... Depending on where you look, the current odds have Alabama as a 5.5 - 6.5 point favorite. The over/under was at 50.5 last time i checked which means that someone is expecting a good bit of offense. Hopefully, they're correct. When you don't care who wins, only making money & a good game can save the day. Of course, if you're like me, everything is a potential bet! I've got:
Yes, I know... You think I have a problem. Just wait until the Super Bowl...
The NFL regular season has come to an end and the Playoff picture is finally set. Now it's just a matter of time until the champion of Super Bowl 50 is crowned. A lot of people are banking on the Pats making a strong push for another ring, but the way they've been playing late in the season, I just don't see it. Of course everyone knows that I'm pulling for the Carolina Panthers to come through and cap off their amazing season. Stay tuned to the Cave for updates. Also, we haven't forgotten about the College Football National Championship. Hopefully the game is better than I'm expecting. But probably not.
Here is a look at the NFL Playoff bracket. Who is your pick??? On yesterday, the Falcons handed the Carolina Panthers their first loss of the season. Although this ends their quest for that elusive perfect season, this might not be the worst thing that could have happened. I mean, let's think about it. Remember the last team with a perfect regular season? Didn't quite work out, did it? This loss takes a lot of pressure off the Panthers and allows some players that may be banged up to rest a little before the playoffs begin. Remember, they have a 1st round bye already. Also, they still have a chance to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win over Tampa Bay, at home. I know nothing is guaranteed, but the stars seem to be aligning. It would be much better if Kelvin Benjamin could contribute a little, but Cam is doing better than anyone expected with the squad he has. This has turned out to be a pretty exciting season and isn't over yet. Stay tuned. Side Note: If you didn't see this catch, you played yourself! That boy Julio is a BEAST!
