Firstly, the Cave would like to say CONGRATS to you A-Rod. First for being the first athlete to make the Cave's Sports tab twice in one year and second for becoming 4th on the MLB All-Time Homerun list! Last week he broke Willie Mays' record and blasted his 661st. I'm not sure if anyone else has done the math... but let's just assume that A-Rod retires at the same time that Barry Bonds did -which is the age of 43. That would mean that Alex has about 4 seasons to hit 101 home runs, that's about 25 home runs per year! So even IF he has a slump year, or maybe retires a season ahead or two, I definitely don't see him retiring at the #4 spot. Alex is on a mission to prove that PED's are not the reason for his success and he's proving it right now! The Yanks are red hot with a 3 game lead in the AL East, with Alex Batting .247 with 7 Home runs.
BUT. The real question is...
Does he still make the Hall of Fame? Take the poll and leave a comment of why or why not! The Cave votes yes!
