Meguiars Marine/RV Fiberglass Restoration System works wonders in the up keep and restoration of carbon fiber parts.
Step 1: Wash the hood to remove all dirt and grease.
Step 2: Open your Meguiars Kit: Open the oxidation remover bottle, grab a towel dab a quarter size amount on it. Working on a small portion of the hood at a time going in circular motions then wiping after a minute of scrubbing (Give it a firm scrubbing use some elbow grease). Wipe it down in a straight motion either horizontal or vertical.
Step 3: Grab another towel and take out the Meguiars high finish polish bottle and get to work. Basically go through the same process working on a small portions at a time, and working in circles but this time wipe away a lot quicker. After thirty seconds of scrubbing wipe off with a clean part of the towel straight down like in step 1. Be a little more generous with the amount you dab on the towel. Like the instructions say don't let product haze. After a couple of times doing this part run your fingers over the part that has been polished and take your time to see if it feels smooth. It might feel smooth but with some grains on it. Its nothing to worry that's why you put water on it for the next three steps (small amount). I recommend to add water after you have repeated this step twice. Do this step 5 times (first 2 times without, last three with little water drops).
Step 4: At this point you should notice the improvement in your hood's appearance. Time to apply wax, be Generous with the amount you apply use circular motions, now don't work the wax in too much, use this as a template. It should take you like two minutes to get the whole hood finished with wax. Don't work in the wax like the other steps. You almost want to act like you are dealing with paint and get a nice coat of wax all over the hood. Once you have your hood covered with wax its going to start to haze which is what it is suppose to do. Not To worry give it some time like 5 minutes (or once it fully hazes give it another minute) and then wipe if off. Nice vertical wipes off.
