I know, I know... It's called #PlanePorn, but I can no longer neglect the importance of the rotary wing aircraft so today we feature the Boeing AH-64 Apache Helicopter! Ok, anyone who knows anything of heli's knows this is a badass. First introduced in the 1980s, today there have been over 2000 built, serving in 4 different militaries. It is an attack helicopter and capable of carrying hellfire missiles and hydro rockets. It has been involved in many of the conflicts involving the U.S. where it has proved how airworthy it is! I introduce to you the Apache!
Summer is officially upon us! Let me present to you this golden ray of sunshine. The beautiful Jade Ramsey. @_jadeybaby Peep the boobie jewelry...
So let’s talk about a drone since supposedly this is the future of aviation. We are getting close to the point where the abilities of aircraft exceed the ability of the human body to keep up, an example would be the F-22, so what are we doing about that? Drones! As of now drones are only able to drop bombs on ground targets and perform surveillance, but soon they will need to be able to dogfight. This week we will focus on the Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk. Its mission is surveillance and it does its job to perfection. The RQ-4 is able to loiter for over 30 hours and cruise at 357 MPH. The drone is operated primarily by the US Air Force, but also has units serving with NATO and NASA with more potential buyers coming soon. I introduce you, the sultan of surveillance, the Global Hawk!
