5. Work like Hell – Fitness and body building is one thing that has no shortcut. Not one. You can wear all the compression wear and take all the supps that man can make, but if you don’t get in there and smack those weights together you’ll never have results. If you’re competing, this should mean more to you than any other rule. In the back of your mind, you should always feel like your competition is working when you’re not. We have a saying, “He can’t do this”. Push yourself to the point that no matter who “He” is, he can’t do what you are doing.
6. Give something back – Never forget from whence you came. Those before and after pictures are impressive, but don’t forget that you were once a before. You don’t have to bend over backwards to help others, but a simple “keep up the good work” to a stranger on the treadmill will work miracles. You may have worked hard for your gains, but that doesn’t necessarily make you a better person. Don’t be a dick.
