Ego lifting - Lifting heavy weight to feel superior. Riding the line of injury.
I think it's pretty clear and well known that ego lifting is dangerous. You should not practice lifting more than you can comfortably do with acceptional form. But... this is the ManCaveHQ and I know y'all want to play with what some people call "d'em big guhlz" aka heavy weights. So, I'm going to give you a list of some exercises that can give the illusion of being excessively strong. You might catch a gym honey alone on a Saturday and impress her eyes with your manliness. Here they go:
Deadlift
Leg Press
Single Arm Rows
Overhead Dumbbell Tricep Extension
Shrugs
These are some exercises that you can really load up the bar, stack the machine, and head to Big Boy Dumbbells. Your body can move a lot of weight with these exercises. Break out in case of emergency.
